Buy here If you have ever read or listened to a Lisa Hall book before you know that she keeps you guessing right up till the very end. This one is no different. When you think you have figured it out something else is thrown into the pot to throw you off guard and keep you guessing. I listened to this book as part of the audio book blog tour. I really enjoyed the narrator, I think she added something extra as she did the voices for each character so you know who was talking, unlike some who just use the same tone for everyone. It is an easy listen and draws you in. Once again, it is a just one more chapter sort of book. The wait in your car until the chapter is over sort of book so you can find out the ending. There are some underlying stories that come out which are hinted at throughout the book which keep you guessing on a number of levels. Characters that nake you suspicious and ones you sympathise with. Twists and turns at every corner. 4 stars

Buy here This is the first book I have read by this author and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I will be looking out for more.  I wasn't sure about it to begin with it is a bit of a slow burner. I kept having to look back at the family tree as i kept forgetting who was who. So was really handy to have this in the front of the book. I think because I was expecting something different I was a bit cautious reading it but I had no reason to be. I really enjoyed it.  I enjoyed the way it told the story in the past and the present, this really added another dimension to the book. I loved seeing things from every characters perspective, it made me guess who was telling the truth and who was lying. Hard to know what to believe.  Once I started to read it, and things strarted to slot into place I couldn't put it down. Buy here Another brilliant book from Heidi. She is always the author I pick off my book shelf when I cannot decide what i want to read and want a book I know im going to enjoy. This was no different. I loved the new location and the new characters thay were introduced. It felt like a fresh start not just for the characters in the book but also for Heidi to be able to expand her writing and explore some more situations. That doesn't mean that I don't miss the old gang of Wynbridge and did wonder how it was going to link together but don't worry. Heidi has you covered! I loved the whole story of this book, I was really invested in the whole thing. Of course with any good book there are characters you route for and ones you wish would buzz off. Heidi does this perfectly in this book and has a great mix of both.  I am a but behind on the series, but I also don't want to read them all too fast and run out of books.
