The Apartment - K. L. Slater

When I was asked to be on this audiobook tour I jumped at the chance. I love a good audiobook, I listened to this while commuting.

This started a bit odd and wasn't sure what to make of it. It took me a while to get in to.
However I was soon gripped and I keot guessing what was going to be the outcome. I guessed wrong.

When the story of Little Albert was introduced I was more in grossed having studied this at university. This sparked my interest and led me to come up with more theories. I was still guessing wrong.

The narrator on this book was great, she kept all the voices clear, you could tell who was who. The voices were great, it really added to the story. I don't think a better narrator could have been chosen.

The writing of this book was fantastic, it toyed with you. Making you think you have got it all sussed but you don't. Lots of twists and turns. Great characters and a really great story. This was a very enjoyable listen.

I want to listen/read more books by this author. Would be a great holiday listen if by the beach, or on a commute to work if you don't mind stopping. Its addictive.

Let it Snow - Sue Moorcroft

Buy Here I have to be honest and say I am only 70% through this book, so I will review up to where I have read. When I started this book I was a bit unsure where it was going or what it was doing. However it was soon explained as the characters and the plot started to thicken.  I am really enjoying getting to know the characters and going through their life with them. Highs and low. Of course as always some are more liked than others, but I'll let you make your own judgement on that!  Sue really does describe the atmosphere and the locations so that you can see them and imagine you are there too. It's making me want to wrap up warm and go and play in the snow.  I am excited to read the rest of the book and hopefully my predictions are correct.... Or not!
