  Buy Here This is my first book by Rosa Temple and it won't be my last.  I was a bit unsure when I started it. However I loved it.  Its not often I finish a book and end up hugging it because I loved it so much.  The characters were great, Hazel is amazing. She reminds me of an old family friend who never gives up no matter what. Daniel is a kind lad who I think is slightly misunderstood when he arrives back in Cornwall.  Their relationship is fantastic, one you can only dream about having with your grandmas friend.  This book is one big giant hug and it's exactly what I needed at the time of reading. Once you start you dont want to stop.  Best book of the year so far! 

Listen here  This is my first Kate Bendelow book.  I have to say I throughly enjoyed it, the reader of this audiobook did a great job  and it really made the book for me. The voices were amazing and really allowed you to fine fine tiune the characters.  The book itself is the 2nd in a series, which you only noticed in a few parts. I was actually giggling in some parts of the story, it was nice to have some laughs in a crime book.  I really liked the story and the whose done it narrative. There were twists and turns galore. Really enjoyable and will hunting out book number one in the series.

  Buy Here I honestly had no idea what to expect when i started this book. I was very dubious as dolls freak me out.. However, i had no need to worry. There wasn't many dolls in this book! I really enjoyed it, it was one that I wouls never have picked up if I saw it on a shelf so I'm so grateful for being able to read an ebook copy. I didn't want to stoo reading at some points. Great characters and really good story telling. I cannot wait to read more from this author. Found a way to make olden day London interesting and makes you feel like you are there along side them all. 

  Buy Here Having previously read Daniel coles books I was looking forward to this stand alone novel. It packs a punch right from the word go and it doesn't let up throughout the book. So many murders and so many what ifs.... And what an earths?!  I liked Chambers and Winter as detectives and their relationship that they had. They never lost charm even if there was a 7 year break in the book for them. They picked up exactly where they left off.  The book was very clever in the way that the murders took part. It was all a work if art. And don't worry if you are like me and aren't sure what they are there are paintings in the book to help you incase you cannot visual it. Great read. 

Buy Here This has to be one of the best books that I have read in a while. It really does have that, just one more chapter feel to it. I don't want to say too much as it will spoilt it and the blurb speaks for itself.  I liked the characters in this book and it really does get you thinking. I actually had an 'omg what?!' moment with this book.. I had to go back an rethink everything I had read up until that point.  If i had start this during the day I'm sure I would have finished it in one too. Really great read and cannot wait to read morw by this author.   

 The Summer Job Buy Here When this book startes it hit with a bam. It was a great way to start.  In the middle it feel a bit flat and then everything ramped up again.  I liked the characters in this book, they were all very different but it worked. Certainly a chalk and cheese moment along the way.  The story of this book was great talk about faking it till you make it. And that is exactly what Birdie did.  The description of the landscapes made me want to go to Scotland to see all the sights. Enjoyable read. Left open for a follow up.

Buy Here   When I first started this book I felt like it was very much on the YA radar, however as the story progressed I got more and more involved in the story and characters.   The story kept me guessing all along the way through, The 2 main characters  whose chapters are from their point of views, although very separate and different from another as part of the same group.    There is so much that happens I dont want to give it away but perfect read for a weekend on a cold wet day, it takes you away to an exotic island that you wish y ou were on, until it starts to go wrong.......

 This is not my normal sort of read, however, I really enjoyed it. Normally anything gothic or with a hint of ghosts is not my thing. This story was written so well and gripped you and drew you in. There was such a clear description of the house, the people and also the grounds. I really wanted this story to carry on and on. I am glad the story ended how it did. Given a full all round story.  I cannot wait to read more around this sort of genre.

I wanted to know more and more as the book went on. There were twists ans turns that I didn't see coming. Some shocking some not so much.  I really enjoyed this book, the characters and descriptions of locations were brilliant. I could imagine what it would look like if I was standing there myself.   Buy Here I have always been fascinated bu Auschwitz, and when this book came about to be on a blog tour. I said yes, as I didn't know much about the twins.  I did enjoy this book and found it a good read, I just couldn't help but want more. I wanted to know about the camp, what it was actually like for the twins. If there were any twins that really stood out to them while they were there.  The situation is truly horrible, and my heart went out to them on every level.  I fell the pain of the experiments that were being done on them. I couldn't help but worry about them.  This book is very well written and very elegant, it makes it an 'easy' read in the sense that you can get stuck in very quickly.   I wanted it to carry on for just a little bit longer, I could see the percentage going up on my kindle and getting sad for it to finish.  I am so glad that they were okay and able to come out of  a horrible situation to have people there for them...

Buy Here Having previously read and loved Dinah Jefferies and I couldn't wait to get stuck into this one. This one is a different from her normal type of novel but it is equally as good. I was gripped from the first page and found it very hard to put down.   If you weren't wanting a holiday before, you will after reading this.  Several locations in Italy are featured including Rome, Florence and Tuscany. Having not been to some of these locations Dinah did a brilliant job at creating the visions, I could see myself there along side the characters as I was reading.  No one knows who to trust, even family are questioning family. This makes you question how well you know your own family.  This story is a question of hardship and love, and the trials and tribulations it goes through.  Who can you trust?

How did you decide to set your next book in a seaside resort community?   For me, part of the pleasure of writing is to explore characters, places, issues and even writing styles. When I finished writing The Escape Room, I was interested in expanding my horizons as a writer rather than embarking on a new novel that would  tread similar ground to The Escape Room.
